WE are ready to take on Chishimba Kambwili if he is daring us with his careless rants on fighting us punch for punch over allegations that State House is plotting to have him arrested, United Party for National Development (UPND) national youth chairperson, Gilbert Liswaniso, has said.

Mr Liswaniso said it was unfortunate that Mr Kambwili was threatening the UPND when he had failed to go punch for punch with former President Edgar Lungu but ended up going back to the PF.
Mr Liswaniso said the fact that Mr Kambwili failed to withstand the pressure was proof enough because the UPND managed to convince Zambians to give them a mandate.
He said that it was not possible that Mr Kambwili can go head to head with President Hakainde Hichilema and that he needed to tone down.
He said if the UPND decided to go punch for punch they would definitely beat Mr Kambwili because of their organisation. “We are politicians, will take him on by talking and ready to defend our party and the Head of State from such threats,” Mr Liswaniso said.
He said it was important to let the police do their job rather than involve the UPND in this matter.
Mr Liswaniso said the UPND had drifted from politics of name calling and physicality but that they were given the mandate because they convinced the Zambians.
“We are the ones running this country and it is important to note that we have promoted peace,” he said.
