THE Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) has refuted claims by President Hakainde Hichilema that Zambia does not have modern specialised hospitals.
President Hichilema recently said the country does not have enough modernised specialised health facilities, thereby calling on investors from India to set up first class hospitals here.
But ZMA Secretary General Dr Roy Tolopu said the country has enough specialised hospitals which have been constructed by previous regimes.
Dr Tolopu added that ZMA is looking forward to engaging the Head of State on the matter.
