MUCHINGA Member of Parliament Emmanuel Banda has reported Serenje District Commissioner Andrew Mpyakula to the police for threatening him with violence.
Mr Banda reported the matter to the police after Mr Mpyakula recently issued unprintables against the lawmaker in a phone call.
The two leaders were close contenders in UPND in 2021. Mr Mpyakula who stood on UPND lost to Mr Banda in the August general polls. This is according to a Facebook posting on Mr Banda’s page.
