Former Democratic Party leader, Harry Kalaba, has launched the Citizens First Political Party, with a goal to place citizens as a priority.
Speaking during the launch yesterday in Lusaka, Mr Kalaba said it is high time that politicians put the citizens as their responsibility.
He said it is sad to note that even the UPND government which was ushered into power by majority Zambians has today neglected them.
Mr Kalaba, who is former Foreign Affairs Minister said political parties that do not have a heart for Zambians should never be tolerated.
Meanwhile, speaking at the same event Economic Front President Wynter Kabimba accused the UPND government of being traitors as they are only supporting the interests of western countries.
Mr Kabimba said it is unfortunate that the new dawn administration could prefer to deal with western countries at the expense of Zambians.
He said Zambians need to learn from how the UPND is governing the country.
