We’re ready to be summoned over Tutwa’s death – Lubinda
By NATION REPORTER
WE are ready to be summoned by the police over claims that former Kabwe Central Member of Parliament Tutwa Ngulube was poisoned because even some officers attested to that, Patriotic Front (PF) acting president Given Lubinda has said.
Mr Lubinda said the party welcomed the statement and that they would even give more names that had actually hinted that Mr Ngulube could have been poisoned.
He said that even some police officers were on record saying that indeed there was foul play in the death of Mr Ngulube.
“He said all those that will be summoned were ready to avail themselves to the police but that they were going to avail the police with more names,” he said.
Mr Lubinda said that even some senior members of the UPND were on record as saying the death of Mr Ngulube was rather odd and suspicious.
He said that there was nothing to hide and that they were ready to face the police and answer all the questions that would be posed to them in the course of investigations.
He however challenged the police to also interrogate all those that claimed that Mr Ngulube was positive and took Viagra which reacted and killed him in the process.
And when contacted on whether some individuals were summoned Zambia Police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale said he needed to first consult his colleagues.
