DON’T make the failures of the PF your preoccupation, just work because talking about the previous regime would not better the lives of Zambians, the Citizen Democratic Party (CDP) has advised the UPND administration.
CDP leader Robert Mwanza says the one year six months the UPND has been in government was enough for them to put their feet on the ground and start doing real work.
Mr Mwanza in an interview said talking about the PF and how they are alleged to have destroyed the country’s economy was not going to help the country in any way.
“In the first five years the UPND have to show the country that they need another term but looking at the way things are, they are not going anywhere
And Mr Mwanza has advised President Hakainde Hichilema to avoid giving sensitise positions such as permanent secretaries to his supporters at the expense of competent directors in various ministries
He said it was because of appointing wrong people in sensitive positions that President Hichilema was complaining that a lot was being done at the top but nothing was happening at the bottom. Mr Mwanza said if President Hichilema continues on such a trajectory then Zambia was bound to fail and the blame would be on him.
