GREEN Buffaloes coach Masauso Tembo is hoping that Napsa Stars coach Perry Mutapa will not share the secret of how to close down and beat Green Buffaloes with other teams.

Speaking after the 4-1 humiliating loss to Napsa Stars in a Week-29 FAZ Super League fixture played at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka, Tembo said it was the most painful defeat of the season.

Tembo, who worked as Mutapa’s assistant at Forest Rangers and Power Dynamos before the two best friends went

separate ways said Napsa Stars closed them down and made  sure that their weapon was ineffective.

“The whole season, defeat to Napsa was a painful defeat but I think we managed the game very well in the first half and in the second half we dropped a bit and Napsa showed aggressiveness in the second half.  They had a good plan, I think they closed where we usually start our weapon from.  I won’t say it and I hope the coach for Napsa won’t share with anyone with these remaining five games,” Tembo said.

Asked if he was happy with how his boys defended especially in the second half in which they conceded three goals, Tembo said; “I have been happy with my line of defence the whole season but Napsa had a good plan for us,  congratulations to them. I will repeat again the coach for Napsa shouldn’t share the secret he did to us to anyone.”

Asked about the fight which erupted and saw two players receiving red cards after the final whistle, Tembo said; “Its nothing. We lost and no one wants to lose. We go back to training, we learn from our mistakes.”

Meanwhile, Mutapa hailed his charges for playing according to their plan especially in the second half after a tense first half which was characterised with stoppages due to the many fouls committed.

“At half time, I told the boys to forget about what was happening and focus on football and that is exactly what they did. The plan which we had was to take Mashata out in the game, we double marked him and we did that very well,” Mutapa said.

He also noted the coming in of Dickson Chapa for Sydney Kalume to have had a positive impact on the Pensioners in the second half.
