ABOUT 20 body builders are set to contest in the much anticipated 2023 Mr Kabwata Body Building championship scheduled for tonight at the Lusaka Hindu Hall.
Kabwata Gymnasium chairperson, Ambros Kumwenda said the body builders have enhanced their preparations in both the open body building and men’s physique categories.
Kumwenda said the contests organising committee has introduced a new category dubbed bikini fitness for female bodybuilders which will be open not just to Kabwata Gym members but to other gymnasiums from across the country.
Kumwenda said participants for this year’s championship are also using the competition to prepare and qualify for the nation’s main event slated for December 1, 2023 at the Government Complex.
