THE National Union for Miners and Allied Workers (NUMAW) has urged Government to strictly monitor the operations of the cooperatives granted mining licences to ensure that they are active.
The Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development recently granted 272 mining licences to cooperatives to exploit mineral resources in the country.
