THE United National Independence Party (UNIP) has opposed Government’s plans to start importing mealie meal to cushion the looming food shortage which has so far seen Zambians queuing for the commodity in some parts of the country.
Party Spokesperson, Andrew Mwima says the plan being undertaken by Government is a sign that the UPND had poorly managed the country’s strategic maize reserves leading to the scarcity of the commodity. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
