MARTIN Mbaya, the man who was on Sunday brutally arrested by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) from a church where he had congregated together with his family was only released yesterday after former President Edgar Lungu visited him at Kabwata Police Station where he had been detained.
And former President Lungu has said it is either President Hakainde Hichilema is double-speaking about the respect of the rule of law and human rights or the people he is working with have no regards for his authority and that is why arbitrary arrests, detentions, torture, cruel and inhuman treatment of citizens have continued under his watch.
