Miles Sampa is expelled, Kasandwe, Melesiana Phiri tell ConCourt

EXPELLED Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa is not a legitimate president of the Patriotic Front (PF) and has therefore no authority or mandate to take any action or make changes to the leadership of the former ruling party, Anthony Kasandwe and Melwesiana Phiri have told the Constitutional Court.
Mr Kasandwe and Ms Phiri, the PF Legislators of Bangweulu and Milanzi Constituencies respectively have told the Constitutional Court that the purported general conference from which Mr Sampa installed himself as president of the PF was an illegal assembly as it was in breach of not only the party constitution but the republican Constitution.
