AFRICA Medical Foundation (AMREF) has expressed its heartfelt concern over the decision by the United States (US) to withdraw from the World Health Organisation (WHO), saying the decision would badly affect Africa, the US and the world over in areas of climate change and human-environmental conflict.
AMREF has described the move as undermining the decades of global health and health security gains, adding that it leaves the US, Africa and the world more vulnerable to infectious diseases and public health threats.
