LAST week a group of young people of Mindolo summoned me to a meeting as they wanted to discuss how I could help them achieve their plan to set up a mechanical workshop to service vehicles in Mindolo.
I honoured the summons and met these young men and our meeting was fruitful and what remains is for us to action the resolutions of the meeting.
I proceeded to have another meeting with taxi operators at the Mindolo Clinic Taxi Rank and our meeting was very fruitful and we now have to see the implementation of the resolutions of that meeting.
The one thing that has impressed me most about the young people I met is their resolve to build a business that will keep them financially sound as opposed to begging.
I walked away from this meeting without anyone of them asking for “Tulyemo” as all they wanted is for me to help them actualise their dream of owning a business venture.
I put it to you mwebena Nkana, that if you need me, summon me and I will come running because I’m your servant.
