ITS evil and treachery of the highest order for a citizen to deliberately dent the image of their own country with half-baked information, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Jean Kapata has said.

Ms Kapata observed that some desperate politicians were going round to foreign donors, denting the reputation of the country by celebrating the country’s debt position and manipulating the information to suit their agenda.
“These are evil, Satanic and don’t deserve a place in Zambia,” she said.
Ms Kapata questioned which country disgruntled politicians would rule if donors act on their evil desires.
“Where are they going to be leaders from? If the people are going to be subjected to bad conditions such as hunger among others.
“Take a leaf from Kenya, where the country through its finance minister came out by accepting that the country was equally facing similar problems, but the opposition never came out to celebrate,” she said.
And Ms Kapata, who is Mandevu constituency Member of Parliament yesterday empowered 20 churches in her area with livestock which was given to the women.
The chicken empowerment came barely 6 months after other groups received empowerment in monetary, livestock and others in terms of machinery.
In a vote of thanks from UCZ women representative, the church in the constituency pledged support to Ms Kapata and Present Lungu.
