Dear Editor,

I want to respond to what the first Vice President for Africa Consumer Union (ACU) Muyunda Ililonga and the National Women’s Lobby Chairperson Beauty Katebe had to say in the Zambia Daily mail newspaper, dated the 1st of June, 2017 on page 20, under the topic “Gender Nation.” I wonder whether Ililonga and Katebe are advocates for murder.

What is abortion? Abortion is the ending of pregnancy by removing a fetus or embryo before it can survive outside the uterus. That embryo is already life that has began in a mothers womb, and God says, “thou shalt not Kill.” Exodus 20:13. With all due respect, it is sordid to hear that these two parents are advocating for abortion. It is unethical and injustice to the human race to institute a law that permits abortion.

To permit a girl child to abort, whether it is by law or not, it is sending her to the grave. Life begins at conception (The fetus or embryo). I can only say yes in an event that medical practitioners are helpless when an event that one has a medical condition that is beyond human control, to serve life, the doctor will advise. Ililonga and Katebe, you are not God to decide the fate of the unborn Child. Life begins at conception.

Mama Ililonga and Katebe, I wonder whether you want this nation to sin and God comes to destroy us all as he did to Sodom and Gomorra. What you are asking for is dangerous. The reason why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorra is because of this, soon you will begin advocating for Homosexuality and Lesbianism. Such kind of women like Ililonga and Katebe, should not be entrusted with power or influence because you will cause the nation to sin against God. If you have nothing to say, with all due respect shut your mouth. I am bleeding in my heart when I hear a mother and an Elder utter such words. I fear for the future of this nation. Passing a law of abortion, should absolutely, and I mean absolutely condemned by all well-meaning Zambians. Zambia is a Christian Nation, but these two leaders minds are satanic, barbaric and immoral.

Their hearts are darkened with sin, and their minds with corruption. With all due respect, they have no morals. A brain full of information but lacks wisdom is dangerous; I wonder what she is teaching to her children.. Abortion? What an abuse and injustice to the human race & life.

We would have never had a president, a pastor, or teacher, if somebody aborted. Right now, I wish madam you were not born, because you are a shame and a reproach to mankind. I wonder why these two people are in position of power and influence when they are busy advocating for murder, because abortion is murder, just like a kiss is sex on a different level. These are not human rights activists, they are activists of darkness.

As parents and elderly women, I thought they can be having seminars, conferences and workshops, teaching these young people how to handle themselves in the society, how to behave themselves. But advocating for the law of abortion to be amended is encouraging the girls to go and become pregnant and later abort. Ladies, don’t agree with their ignorant speech, if you die in abortion, she will still be living. Your body is expensive; it was bought at a price by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. I think Ililonga and Katebe are agents of darkness. Shame on you Katebe and Ililonga. I had respect for you, but I have just withdrawn it. You need God, otherwise you perish in hell!
