CHISHIMBA Kambwili has himself to blame for the predicaments that have befallen him in the recent past as he has been too provocative with his utterances, the Bishops Council of Zambia (BCZ) has charged.

In an interview with the Daily Nation, BCZ spokesperson Fred Chingole said that the expelled PF official had been too daring and provocative to his own party.

Mr Chingole said that in as much as the council did not support any form of violence no matter the circumstances, Mr Kambwili had himself to blame for his predicaments.

He said that it was not surprising that the Roan Member of Parliament had been involved in a number of squabbles in the recent past following the tension that he had created.

Mr Chingole pointed out that Mr Kambwili, who is a former minister in the PF government had been provoking his colleagues with unproven allegations.

“What honourable Kambwili has been doing is clear provocation. In as much as people have the right to talk, it’s also good to watch your mouth. Those allegations against his friends, he has been challenged over and over to provide evidence but nothing,” Mr Chingole said.

Mr Chingole said Mr Kambwili had been abusing his rights by publicly attacking his colleagues, even in Parliament.

He said that there were proper procedures of lodging allegations of any nature rather than just ranting without proof.

Mr Chingole advised Mr Kambwili to tone down and watch his mouth to avoid more embarrassments.

Meanwhile, Mr Chingole advised the ruling party not to fall in Mr Kambwili’s trap as that had been his intention.

Mr Chingole condemned attacks on the Roan MP, adding that any form of violence should be condemned regardless of who the perpetrators were.
