NATIONAL Revolution Party (NRP) President Cosmo Mumba has said former Roan Member of Parliament (MP) Chishimba Kambwili is just a bully who thrives on intimidating people.
And Mr Mumba has said Dr Kambwili and losing PF Chimwemwe parliamentary candidate Mwenya Musenge have allegedly approached three political parties with the intention of buying one of them and later change their name.
But, Dr Kambwili said he was not going to waste his time responding to fools like Dr Mumba because people might not notice the difference.
And Mr Musenge said Dr Mumba was a shameless opposition leader and a PF parasite who thrives on dancing for President Edgar Lungu.
Dr Mumba said, during an interview after a press briefing at house number 5 Uchi street in Kitwe’s Nkana West that Dr Kambwili was not a political giant as he was perceived by some people, but he was just a bully who thrived on bullying and intimidating people.
Dr Mumba said if Dr Kambwili was a political giant as he claimed to be, he would have faced the PF in Roan constituency in a
by-election, instead of seeking the court’s interventions.
He said, Dr Kambwili’s arrogance and his bully behaviour had earned him more enemies than friends because when he served as minister in various ministries, he had stepped on many people’s toes.
“Who is Dr Kambwili? He is not a leader, he just gets things because of his arrogant and bully behaviour. He is a political nonentity, he is just a bully. When he was Minister of Labour, he was just bullying people, when he was Information Minister, he was just bullying people.
“In fact Dr Kambwili and Mr Musenge deserve to be punished heavily for being arrogant, abusive, greedy and selfish while serving as ministers. I can tell you that very few people say good things about Kambwili and Musenge because they were abusive when they were ministers. Those who support them are their fellow disgruntled politicians ,” Dr Mumba said.
But, in response, Dr Kambwili said he was not going to waste his time responding to fools like Dr Mumba because people might not notice the difference.
He said he was not in the political class of Dr Mumba and so responding to his statements was a waste of time and energy because people would think he was also in a political class of fools like Dr Mumba.
“I respect Dr Mumba’s statement because that is, his own opinion. If anything, it would be a waste of time responding to fools like Dr Mumba because people might not notice the difference. They may think i also belong to the group of fools like Dr Mumba,” Dr Kambwili said.
And Dr Mumba has said Dr Kambwili and losing PF Chimwemwe parliamentary candidate Mwenya Musenge have allegedly approached three political parties with the intention of buying one of them and later change its name.
“As spokesperson of the 16 opposition party leaders, I can tell you that Kambwili and Musenge have approached three political parties with the intention of buying them and later change the name, but the leaders of these parties have been resisting the K150,000 being offered to them,” He said.
But, Mr Musenge said Dr Mumba was a shameless opposition leader and a PF cadre.
