… Honestly sure, can Kambwili be the Messiah?

EXPELLED Patriotic Front (PF) member of Central Committee (MCC) Mwenya Musenge and his “Messiah” Chishimba Kambwili should find a better way of selling their newly-formed party, instead of attacking President Edgar Lungu with wild allegations of corruption,’ PF Copperbelt provincial chairman Stephen Kainga has said.
Mr Kainga said the two expelled former ministers will not achieve anything by attacking and insulting President Lungu in the media, but their conduct will only expose their arrogance, immaturity and failure to handle issues in a civilised manner.
The PF Copperbelt chief was reacting to media reports where expelled PF MCC and losing PF parliamentary candidate Mr Mwenya Musenge was saying Mr Chishimba Kambwili will fix President Lungu before joining his newly formed party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Mr Kainga said the PF on the Copperbelt was aware that the newly formed party belonged to both Mr Kambwili and Mr Musenge, but they were merely playing games to create an impression that Mr Kambwili was not part of the NDC.
“Both of them are leaders of NDC and so, instead of attacking President Lungu in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening, they should concentrate on selling their party. People are tired of their tantrums which do not make sense.
“So from what we have read in the media, when Mr Musenge said he was John the Baptist, paving the way for the messiah to provide proper and democratic leadership to Zambia, he meant Mr Kambwili? Honestly sure, can Mr Kambwili be the Messiah? Unless we re-define the word Messiah,” Mr Kainga said.
Mr Kainga advised Zambians to ignore the tantrums from Mr Musenge and his messiah who were always insulting President Lungu.
And PF Copperbelt information and publicity secretary Kelvin Sinyangwe has urged President Lungu to remain focused on taking the country to the right path of economic recovery and national development because some people who were attacking him were bent on distracting him from fulfilling his campaign promises.
Mr Sinyangwe urged PF members to be united and support President Lungu by encouraging him that he had the ability to take the country to greater heights despite the many challenges the country was facing.
