About marauding PF cadres

Editor,

Criminal trespassers deserve to be shot. Injure them forever, don’t spare them at all. I am referring to those suspected PF cadres harassing a Barlastone farmer. What they are doing is wrong and tarnishing the name and image of their party.

Cowards who flee their countries

Editor,

I think the real sh…holes are those cowards who flee their countries to become second class citizens in foreign lands then look down on their countries while citizens in those countries pride theirs and call them “mukwerekwere”. I don’t remember the Germans or Japanese running away from their broken down countries after World War 2. They stayed and built and didn’t blame the politicians for their failures.

Bushiri, Kalaba alliance

Editor,

I suspect that the so-called Prophet Shepherd Bushiri must have told his friend Harry Kalaba a lot of cow dung that went to his head and thinks he is now presidential material. So it must have been that indecorous prophesy from Bushiri that lit the black candle. Ba Kalaba be careful because God is watching over these men of god, the majority of whom are phony.

Some traditions archaic

Editor,

Please we need to change the mentality of tradition in Zambia.  It is typical of lack of civilization. In villages no one dies unless he /she is bewitched. A person drowns in the river, falls from a tree or gets beaten by a snake, to villagers it’s witchcraft including suicide.

Bad foreign companies

Editor,

Zambians are subjected to poor working conditions by foreign companies. Are still under colonial rule? We want equal work, equal payments regardless of the colour or political affiliation. Elias Mpazi

Arrest Paul Njovu injurer

Editor,

Let justice be done to the person who injured Paul Njovu regardless of whether he is related to a police officer. Law is law. May our good Lord prevail in this matter?

Install good cameras at tollgates

Editor,

Tollgates in Zambia will be used to fill up pockets for individuals. How do you expect a tollgate to operate efficiently without effective cameras to monitor activities at these facilities? Most of cameras at tollgates are nonfunctional.

Expensive Solwezi market stands

Editor,

Kazungula council marketeers are lucky if they were paying K200 non-refundable fee for new trading spaces because in Solwezi people were parting with as much as K1, 500. These markets are something else, you find people called market committees doing nothing but only collecting money from people.
