KITWE VENDORS RIOT OVER ‘EJECTION’

HUNDREDS of street vendors in Kitwe rioted after being chased from the city corridors forcing the local authority to rescind its decision.
The Kitwe City Council has however given the street vendors up to Friday to move from city corridors.
The irate vendors took to the streets in protest, causing havoc and brought the city centre to a standstill after the council announced its plans.
