I WILL work with the UPND government so that the Lusaka City Council (LCC) can continuously deliver quality service to its citizenry as well as to fulfill the campaign promises, says Lusaka mayor Chilando Changala.
Ms Chitangala said despite her party, Patriotic Front being out of power, she would ensure the citizens get quality service delivery in the city.
Ms Chitangala stated that those who are waiting to see her fail were not only treacherous, but were not good people at all.
She stated that she was voted for by the residents of Lusaka and she would not disappoint them.
Ms Chitangala said she will ensure that garbage collection is tackled while water shortages that erupt in communities such as Mtendere would also be worked on.
She added that during her tenure of office, she will also ensure that women are engaged in every community work so that can get empowered in different skills.
Ms Chilando said, she will ensure that she delivers and fulfills her campaign promises.
She has also encouraged residents to engage with her office and to offer checks and balances.
“I will work with the UPND government so that the Lusaka City Council can continuously deliver quality service to its residents as well as to fulfill the campaign promises,” said Ms Chitangala.
