PRESIDENT HICHILEMA EULOGISES ZUKAS

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has eulogised former cabinet minister and founding father, Simon Zukas, commending his desire for a just and equal society.
And President Hichilema said while in Government he would work hard to ensure that democracy thrived in Zambia as a way of honouring patriots like Mr Zukas.
President Hichilema noted that the late Zukas, together with other patriots, made personal sacrifices towards democracy, good governance and economic development of Zambia and his death was a big loss to the entire country.
Mr Hichilema who joined other mourners in putting Mr Zukas to rest at Lusaka’s Memorial Park Cemetery, said his dedication to duty and service even when he was advanced in age, was one admirable attribute for everyone to embrace.
The President said there was need for Zambians to draw lessons from Mr Zukasincluding his desire for a just and equal society.
