My efforts to secure bursary support for the vulnerable youths is aimed at cushioning the impact and hardships which many people were facing due to their financial inability to take their deserving children for further studies at tertiary level, Chimwemwe Member of Par-liament Allen Banda has said.

Mr Banda said the scarcity in financial means at household level was resulting in most parents’ failure to take their deserving children for further studies at tertiary level hence his initiative to secure bursaries for those who were vulnerable.

Mr Banda was speaking yesterday after he disclosed that he had managed to secure 100 bursaries support for vulnerable youths in the Con-stituency for the 2022 academicyear at the Zambia Institute of Business Studies and Industrial Practice (ZIBSIP) in Kitwe.
