THE arrest of Ndola mayor Jones Kalyati and two Patriotic Front (PF) councillors on the eve of the deputy Mayoral elections in Kitwe and Ndola respectively has nothing to do with mingalato meant to disenfranchise the opposition, Cornelius Mweetwa has said.
During elections for the deputy mayor in Kitwe, Police raided the council chamber in an attempt to fish out PF councillors in an effort to reduce the numbers and give the UPND an easy victory but the plot was foiled. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE
