GOOD Time Steel company Limited has embarked on a massive Covid 19 vaccination programme targeting 500-600 of its workforce, Company Human Resources Manager Brian Kapembwa has said.
Kapembwa said GTS attaches great importance to the safety, health and wellbeing of its employees hence the vaccination program being undertaken at the company premises.
He said GTS being a factory set-up type of business operation, the vaccination programme will ensure minimal or zero Covid 19 infections at the Factory.
“A factory set-up type of business requires teamwork and close contacts amongst employees. Therefore, this vaccination exercise does not only protect our workers but also our customers,” emphasized Kapembwa.
He said President Hakainde Hichilema recently called on all Zambians to vaccinate if the fight against the Covid 19 pandemic is to be won and to save livelihoods and the economy.
