Directors at the Road Development Agency (RDA) have been relieved of their duties confirms one of the fired individuals, Masuzyo Ndhlovu, who was director of communications.
Others whose contracts have been terminated include director finance, Mulenga Kapembwa, director procurement, Titus Chansa, director C and R, William Mulusa as well as SM finance operations.
Mr. Ndlovu confirmed in an interview that his contract has been terminated but was not privy to the details apart from the letter of termination of employment.
He explained the termination letter only quoted a clause from the employment contract stating that the employment contract has been terminated in line with the provisions of the clause in the contract.
“Yes, that’s true so I’m sure, the CEO should know the details because we don’t have the details of the termination of our contracts.
Just the letter we received to say that my employment contract was terminated, that’s all I can say,” he said.
