STOP BICKERING, LISWANISO URGES UPND YOUTHS

By SANFROSSA MANYINDA

LET us support the leaders that were appointed within the party and avoid protesting over simple issues without following channels of communication, United Party for National Developement (UPND) National Youth Chairperson, Gilbert Liswaniso, has advised the party youths.

Mr Liswaniso said it was dissapointing to note how some members were turning against one  another over matters that could easily be resolved through dialogue.

He said now was not the time for party members particularly the youths to start having  differences amongst themselves but time to work.

Mr Liswaniso was speaking to the Daily Nation in Kitwe over the weekend.

“ We know that most of us have done a lot for the party and would not  want  to be on one same position, but let us give chance to those that were appointed to do their work.

“ Let us not destroy our own party that we together suffered for to finally get into power after 23 years,” he said.

Mr Liswaniso said forming government was not an easy thing to do for people to start having differences amongst themselves.

He advised the youths not to allow rumours or confusion to take centre stage but take their challenges to the right tables for them to be solved.

Mr Liswaniso added that youths needed to be serious with forming co-operatives if they needed to benefit from the empowerment programs that he said would make them feel included.
