I’m ready for the task, says Kan’gombe

By KALOBWE BWALYA

I WELCOME my appointment as PF national youth chairperson and I am ready for the task ahead of reorganising youths across the country, Kamfinsa Member of Parliament, Christopher Kang’ombe, has said.

Mr Kang’ombe said he knew that the task was huge but would work with other PF members to ensure the party get organised in terms of youth mobilisation.

He said what the party needed to do now was some introspection and analyse things not just to concentrate on politics, but to focus on ideas that will benefit every Zambian.

In an interview, Mr Kang’ombe explained that his leadership would focus on bringing out issues that have been affecting the youth apart from unemployment.

Mr Kang’ombe said the youth league would not only concentrate on politics but on coming up with better ideas that would contribute to better governance.

He said among the ideas to be pushed forward was the youth input in the constitution review process and ensure that the procedure is a success.

“We don’t want our youth wings that will just be bringing politics, but the wing that will focus on ideas of how governance should be done better among many other issues that the youth will bring on the table,” said Mr Kang’ombe.

Mr. Kang’ombe said he would focus his leadership on championing ideas that would contribute to national development.
