STOP BLAME GAME AND WORK, GOVT TOLD

By GIDEON NYENDWA

IT is high time that the UPND government realised that the blame game they have been playing in the last seven months is not helping matters because things are getting wors under them, National Democratic Congress (NDC) secretary general Charles Kabwita has said.

Mr Kabwita said that it was unfortunate that after seven months of the UPND being in government no tangible solutions to the problems that they had been pointing at had been made.

He said that blaming the previous government on everything was not helping matters because things have moved from worse to worst during their time.

“The blame game is not helping matters,” he said.

Mr Kabwita said that UPND came in government under the slogan of fixing the nation which means that they were coming to fix what had been broken but up to now there was no clear solution that had been suggested to fix what was broken.

He said Zambians need answers to numerous promises that they were given but all they have been getting was that the previous regime left the economy in a mess that was the reason why there was so much anxiety among the youth leading to protests.
