Application period for unsuccessful health workers extended

Application period for health workers who failed to file in for various reasons has been extended for 3 days starting this week on Wednesday to Friday.

Health minister, Sylvia Masebo announced yesterday during a Covid-19 update that the government received reports that some people in remote parts of the country failed to file in their applications due to various reasons.

Ms. Masebo said as a listening government, they have decided to extend the registration period for 3 days to allow those who could not tender in applications to do so. She clarified that the applications of those who successfully filed in are still valid therefore they were no affected by the extension.

‘’We received reports from the districts that some people failed to file in their applications for various reasons, so as a listening government, we has extended the application period for 3 days for those who failed to file in,’’ he said.

Ms Masebo has implored the Members of Parliament (MPs), mayors and councillors in the districts to ensure that those who failed to file in the applications do so during the extension period.

The application period for health workers commented last week from Monday to Friday in all the districts.
