He has been managing music artistes for a long time but he has chosen to live a quiet life. His passion for promoting music comes with his greater vision to see Zambian music cross borders. His name is synonymous to one of Zambia’s top music artiste Yo Maps. The two have worked closely together.
Evans Nsongela Kandeke famously known as DJ Kandeke is happy with the current progression of Zambian music.
Kandeke who proudly identifies himself as an artiste manager and event organizer has made significant strides in the Zambian music industry.
He has worked with Zambia’s biggest and most happening R&B artiste ,Yo Maps among many others.
Kandeke prides himself with managing events and Deejaying with KNC Radio. He has also worked with Pollywood Records and currently serving as C.E.O of all Seasons Records.
He completed his education in Kabwe where he grew up, but was born on the Copperbelt in Chililabombwe.
He describes himself as a cool, nice and a straightforward person.
He loves music, dancing and writing life inspirational quotes.
Away from music, Kandeke does business and he is CEO of Same God, Different Day Clothing.
“My aim is to push Yo Maps on the international market because to me, music is Business,” he said.
