I am aware that there is a ploy to have me arrested but those plotting should feel free and come and get me because I will be waiting for them, PF aspiring candidate Chishimba Kambwili, has said.
Mr Kambwili said he was informed that there was a plan being hatched to have him thrown in jail but that he was ready to take them on punch for punch.
Mr Kambwili said, “I have not confirmed yet but have seen the report that State House wants to have me arrested which is very unfortunate.”
He said that he was not scared and that they can go ahead and go for him but that they would be doing it at their own peril.
He said it was more like disturbing a beehive instead of leaving the bees in peace they want to poke it and the end result would be devastating for them.
Mr Kambwili indicated that he had given the UPND Government ample time from the time they ascended to power.
“Mwikala patalala mwine apatalalika, elyo umuntu ngalefwaya ukumpesha ninshi ninjikalila awe tuka pwishana because I have been quiet on the political scene,” Mr Kambwili said.
He could be lethal if pushed to the curb but hoped that this was just a rumour because it was pure victimisation.
He said he was sure that all this stemmed from the fact that he had been appointed as a Member of the Patriotic Front (PF) Central Committee.
He said he was shocked that President Hakainde Hichilema who was a victim of intimidation when he was in opposition had adopted the same trend after ascending to power.
Mr Kambwili said political power had a short lifespan and that they needed to be very careful in the manner they were dealing with their perceived political enemies.
