Communication confusion governing in UPND – Kampyongo

ZAMBIANS will continue being confused by what their government is doing because the communication network among government officials, including Ministers has been in disarray from the beginning, Stephen Kampyongo has said.

Mr Kampyongo, the Shiwang’andu Patriotic Front (PF) Member of Parliament says it is not surprising that the energy sector had suffered the worst communication gaffs under the UPND leadership because ruling party has adopted ‘organized confusion’ as a methodical style of governing the country.

Mr Kampyongo, who is the Opposition Chief Whip in Parliament said Zambians were yet to see more organized confusion in the UPND style of methodical governance because the leadership was neither talking to each other nor listening to each other.

Commenting on claims by Energy Minister Peter Kapala that President Hakainde Hichilema was not misled when he announced the end of load shedding, Mr Kampyongo said the UPND had blamed all but itself for its failures and that in its confusion, the governing party was failing to lucidly and eloquently failing to explain its agenda.

He wondered who Zambians should now believe between President Hichilema, who announced the end of load shedding when in fact not and Mr Kapala or the Zesco board Chairman Victor Ncube over the status of the country’s electricity generation.

And Mr Kampyongo has stated that it is shocking that Vice-President Mutale Nalumango could have the audacity of telling off Zambians that they switch to feeding on roller meal if the breakfast mealie meal was beyond their economic reach.
