A mining investor in Sinazongwe is putting the lives of several villagers at risk by embarking on underground mining below the village settlements which are cracking and causing serious damage to the houses which may collapse.
And a traditional leader in the area has called on authorities to intervene and save the lives of the villages failure to which, the mining company should consider compensating his subjects following cracks that have developed on their houses as a result of underground mining activities.
