UNITED Party for National Development Central province youth information publicity secretary, Davies Mwenya has died after being hit by a car.
UPND Central province media team confirmed in a statement that the incident happened in Mkushit on Thursday.
“We wish to announce the untimely Death of Central Province Youth IPS Davies Mwenya who has been hit by car in Mkushi. His death comes as a shock to everyone in Central Province, especially the UPND family. The funeral will be held in Mkushi and we wish to console the bereaved family, and ask God to comfort them in this trying time.
“Davies Mwenya was a good person who dedicated his life to serve the people with dignity and valour. May His Soul Rest In Eternal peace,” read the statement.
