Miles lawyers fails to serve Lubinda/Chilangwa summons

PATRIOTIC Front (PF) aspiring presidential candidate Miles Sampa’s lawyers have failed to serve the summons to acting PF Given Lubinda and secretary general Nickson Chilangwa the PF officials.
This is in case in which Matero MP, Miles Sampa has sued the duo over his suspension from the PF due to gross indiscipline. Mr Sampa’s lawyers, Iven Levi Legal Practitioners claimed that the officials were evading the service hence the failure to deliver the summons.
However Mr Lubinda and Mr Chilangwa’s lawyer Jonas Zimba of Makebi Zulu Advocates said the court has advised that the lawyers to effect substituted service which could mean putting an advert in the paper and other forms of media.
Mr Zimba said the contempt case should be heard before any other case was heard by the courts because this was the precedent. He also said that they had also take out contempt proceedings against him and would be cited for contempt for some acts he allegedly committed.
