…as it unveils Golden ticket winner Mwale

By MICHAEL MIYOBA

ZAMTEL have unveiled Joseph Mwale as the winner of the Golden Ticket for the much-anticipated legendary match between the African Legends and the 2012 AFCON winning Chipolopolo Legends.

Mwale, who took part in the Zamtel competition by buying a ticket worth K50 for the legendary match slated for Heroes Stadium in Lusaka will today travel with the African legends who he had an opportunity to interact with during last night’s dinner held to honour the former football stars.

Zamtel acting CEO Jayson Mwanza congratulated Mwale for the golden ticket which would present him the once in a life time opportunity to mingle with the African stars.

Mwanza hailed Kings of Africa for believing and agreeing to partner with Zamtel, a company that recognises the importance of sports in uniting a nation.

Mwanza said the partnership with Kings of Africa has enabled Zamtel to contribute meaningfully to sports in the country.

He said Zamtel will continue to support initiatives that support the growth of sports.

Kings of Africa Head of Operations Lisa Sukdev said they were determined to bring the best stars in Zambia.

Sukdev encouraged fans to turn up in large numbers like they did during the Barcelona Legends match which attracted fans from neighbouring countries.

Mwale thanked Zamtel and Kings of Africa for the initiative which has given him the opportunity to get to meet and create a personal relationship with the legends.

Meanwhile, Zambia’s football icon Kalusha Bwalya applauded Zamtel and Kings of Africa for their collaborative efforts to bring the African legends to Zambia.

And South African legend Lucas Radebe, who captained the Bafana Bafana squad that won the AFCON in 1996 said he was looking forward to face the Chipolopolo Legends today.

Radebe said African Legends would take the game seriously as they seek to teach the Chipolopolo Legends a lesson.
