Papers don’t even matter anymore these days, people out there have degrees diplomas, masters,, but have never tasted employment based on their qualifications,. It is really a sad scenario.

Lets perfect education system

The current education system in our country should be perfected so that we dominate on the continent and beyond. Make teachers’ salaries handsome so that they can dedicate their lives to mould the pupils into vibrant intellectuals who can be innovative, research oriented and able to embrace technologies that can ease the means of production and value addition. This would greatly help this country steer forward in terms of development. It’s a sorry sight that our entire education system only produces job seekers. This year, leakages should be curbed by the powers that be while teachers should work to improve the quality passing rate which leaves much to be desired.

Who will eat the drought resistant crops?

A recent call on farmers to consider growing drought resistance crops like cassava, millet and sorghum is a good idea. But how much success will government score in convincing people to change to eating such nutritious foot items if they failed to get roller meal which is maize product and can our ministers eat sorghum nshima? God knows.

Criminals not cadres protested over illegal plots

Your article, cadres protest over plots cannot pass without. A comment do not ever use word cadres instead of criminals. The people who burnt tyres and smashed vehicles when they attempted to sell government plots illegally are not cadres but criminals who should be hunted like wild dogs. Cadres are well trained and disciplined members of any organization. Please do not call criminals cadres. We therefore call upon the OP and the Police to bring these criminals to book so that they are exposed as criminals in the eyes of Zambians. Do not condone illegality and criminality in Zambia.
