Indo Zambia introduced Eezy digital savings account

INDO Zambia Bank (IZB) has developed innovative ways of providing convenient services in a safe manner amidst the Covid-19 through E-commerce and Indo Eezy digital savings account.
The Bank which yesterday donated assorted basic needs worth K60,000 towards the vulnerable people under the umbrella of St Kizito Catholic Church in George Compound recently launched the Indo Eezy digital savings account, E-commerce and upgraded its website for increased customer satisfaction.
IZB Communications and Brand officer, Linda Wazili, said that the recently launched products and services are in line with the bank’s continued efforts to promote financial inclusion while putting into consideration the restrictions that arose with the advent of Covid-19.
Ms Wazili said that Indo was delighted to partner with St Kizito Catholic Church -Catholic Women Organization in the initiative to assist vulnerable people who have been socially and economically affected by Covid-19.
She said the initiative was consistent with the bank’s brand values as it assists government’s efforts to ending poverty in all its forms everywhere.
” Having the brand promise of supporting you developing Zambia, Indo Zambia Bank is in full support of projects or initiatives like these that aim at improving the well-being and livelihoods of the vulnerable people in our society and is aware of the devastating impact that the advent of Covid-19 has had on the economy leading to decimated jobs,” she said.
Catholic Women Organization chairperson Mary Mukuka said that the charity initiative has 600 vulnerable people including the disabled and elderly in George Compound community.
Parish catechist Samson Phiri commended Indo Zambia Bank for the gesture which will go a long way in ensuring that no person goes to bed on an empty stomach.
The donated items included 25 kilogram bags of mealie meal,soya pieces,soap among other essential needs.
