Anybody who masquerades as National Democratic Congress (NDC), will get them arrested now that the matter of who is the rightful owner of the party has been resolved by the courts of law, says party leader Saboi Imboela.
Ms. Imboela also the par- ty has given the group that has been masquerading as NDC members prior to the court’s ruling 48 hours to close its secretariat.
She said in an interview that the party wouldn’t hesi- tate to get anyone masquer- ading as an NDC member for misrepresenting the real NDC party.
Ms. Imboela explained that the NDC was being misrepresented by those claiming to be party mem- bers on a number of issues which include their stance in taking part in the by-elections.
She said the party has resolved to take action to en- sure that what they say and believe in is what goes out to the public and not what those masquerading are saying or doing. “The confusion that Zambians have started should be brought to an end, will have a lot of serious confusion in our politics if we continue on this path, will look like a country of people that don’t think, will become a laugh- ing stoke,” she said.
