THE Advocates for National Development and Democracy (ANDD) has called on government to save Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) from further deterioration by ensuring that the transition process is concluded in the second quarter of 2024.
ANDD Executive Director Samuel Banda said it is important that the government concludes the transition process so that Vedanta Resources begin to implement its investment commitments.
Mr Banda said the people are tired of waiting for the revival of KCM which he believed will help in creating jobs and business opportunities as well as help addressing the economic shocks.
