MAUREEN LILANDA, OTHERS IN ‘ART BEATING AS ONE’ CONCERT

ZAMBIAN legendary songbird Maureen Lupo Lilanda will on March 6 lead a chain of female artistes in a special International Women’s Day celebration dubbed ‘Art Beating As One’ Concert.

Set for the Government Complex in Lusaka, the show is aimed at promoting women in various art forms including music. The show comes in the wake of celebrating the International Women’s Day which falls on March 8.
Being a veteran musician, Maureen famously called Aunty Maureen will be glad to lead a powerful team of young songstresses who are more than glad to be part of the event.

The soulful songstress Wezi will be in the building with her supportive band ‘Elect Band’. Others to perform include the female hip hop star Bombshell, gospel artiste Esther Chungu and traditional music singer Theresa N’gambi to name only a few.

The event starts at 18:00 hours and attracts a K200 charge.
