THE Zambia National Soccer team has regrouped ahead of the 4-Nation tournament to be held in Uganda.
FAZ Communications manager Sydney Mungala confirmed the development noting that almost all the players selected for camp had reported except for Red Arrows speedy winger Bruce Musakanya who had a family problem to attend too.

Chipolopolo coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named 42 players for a four day local camp as he closes in on his Chan and Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers squads. Micho, a former Orlando Pirates and Zamalek coach has summoned impressive Power Dynamos goal keeper Jackson Kakunta among the five shot stoppers selected for the local camp.

The Serbian has also summoned the Nkana duo of Gift Zulu and Lyson Thole and NAPSA Stars’s Luka Banda and Luka Ng’uni. TO PAGE 19 Kabwe Warriors lethal striker Jimmy Ndlovu and young stars Francisco Mwepu and Joseph Phiri both from Red Arrows and Young Green Eagles Adamson Mulao have made the cut. Micho is expected to trim the number further after the local camp and is expected to remain with 30 players.
As part of refining his squad, Micho will lead the Chipolopolo for a Four-Nation tournament that will run from March 17-21 in Uganda.
Zambia will join host Uganda, Zimbabwe and Mali in a mini-tournament that will be used as part of a warm up for the CHAN.

The Chipolopolo is also preparing for the back-to-back AFCON qualifying fixtures against Botswana on March 26.Foreign based players will join the preparations for the crucial AFCON qualifiers in the final stages of the preparations.
