ZAMBIANS have resolved to rally behind the Patriotic Front (PF) because of the vision President Edgar Lungu has shown to transform the country, PF national vice chairperson for mobilisation Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has said.
He said people were pleased with the agenda of improving the livelihoods of many vulnerable people.
Mr Mwamba popularly known as GBM said the wind of change which many opposition leaders were singing about would not be there come 2021.
He said in an interview yesterday that since independence the country had not received such development which the PF administration had actualised in a short time.
“As PF all we are doing is not for political expediency but we are doing it for the people of Zambia because they deserve better.
“We have seen it fit to ensure that what was not done in the past should be done now so that generations to come see what good things were done by the caring leadership,” Mr Mwamba said.
Mr Mwamba, who is former UPND vice president for administration, said Zambians could not be swayed by fake promises.
He said 2021 would be a hurtful period for the opposition because they would lose miserably.
Mr Mwamba said the margin would be huge this time around because people would not waste their votes on individuals who had nothing to offer.
