AFRICA Bet Zambia Managing Director, Eve Sande, has reaffirmed her company’s commitment to contribute to the development of sports in Zambia.

Speaking when she unveiled local artiste Mwila Musonda, popularly known as Slap Dee as Africa Bet Brand Ambassador, Sande said her company was dedicated to improving the lives of young people through its corporate social responsibility.

Sande, whose company sponsors the Africa Bet Chawama off season tournament which features 36 teams from various communities across Lusaka, said that the firm was proud to sponsor one of Zambia’s biggest off season community soccer tournaments.

“We endeavour to always identify and be part of the communities in which we operate. We are a brand of the people as reflected in our various corporate social responsibilities.

“We are glad to be one of the few companies that recruit, train and empowers inexperienced school leavers and youths within the communities we have operations thereby becoming the stepping stone for many youths to achieve their desired future,” Sande explained.

“Today we are humbled to have partnered with one of Zambia’s loved sons, Slap Dee in our bid to reach out to as many youths as possible and fulfil our corporate social responsibilities together.”

And speaking after being unveiled as the company’s brand ambassador, Musonda expressed happiness to have partnered with Africa Bet in their quest to inspire young people in various communities around Lusaka.

“I am passionate about my music and I give it all for the benefit of my fans in Zambia and beyond. Africa Bet shares that same passion, vision and work ethic and it was no surprise that this mutual relationship came to fruition,” Musonda said.

And Africa Bet director, Enock Simukonde said that the company will continue to give back to the community through the various promotions offered to clients.

Simukonde urged football followers across Zambia to witness the Africa Bet Chawama off season tournament which ends next Sunday as Chawama United will play Young Stars in the third and fourth fixture while Circuit City will play Jack United in the final.
