GENUINE politicians must not allow themselves to be misled by a toxic politician like Kambwilli into participating in senseless demonstrations, New Generation Party (NGP) president Humphrey Siulapwa has charged.

Mr. Siulapwa was reacting to Mr Kambwilli’s recent calls for countrywide demonstrations against alleged corruption in government.

Speaking at a media briefing yesterday, Mr Siulapwa said Mr Kambwilli’s calls were misleading and should not be entertained.

He said such calls should not be tolerated by police as they were likely to cause anarchy in the country

He said Mr Kambwilli was political poison and opposition political leaders must not follow his footsteps as they risked losing the electorate’s respect.

“My advice to my colleagues in the opposition especially HH (Hakainde Hichilema) and Nawakwi is that they should not be misled by Kambwilli who is obviously very bitter and wants to settle personal scores with the party in government,” Mr. Siulapwa said.

He said opposition political party leaders should by all means avoid associating themselves with Mr Kambwilli because he had a negative reputation of being disrespectful and infamous for using derogatory language.

He said it was shameful to be associated with a character such as Mr Kambwilli and the National Democratic Congress, which was a party made up of condemned and frustrated politicians.

“Kambwilli is becoming like Fred M’membe, he is all over the place disrespecting everyone and even going to the extent of insulting the President. Look at how M’membe ended up and if Kambwilli is not careful his end will be a disaster,” he said.

Mr Siulapwa said Mr Kambwili was a failure as he had failed to take development to his Roan constituency.

He said Mr Kambwilli, as a member of Parliament, had failed to create employment in his constituency despite him boasting of being wealthy.

Mr Siulapwa said besides his failures in his constituency, Mr Kambwilli was busy dreaming about President Lungu day and night.

“Kambwilli is obsessed with President Lungu all the time, he is talking about Lungu all the time. We do not even know if NDC has a manifesto because all he talks about is Lungu,” he said.
