Kasokota Prosperous Youth club which benefitted three pigs, which had now increased to 16 animals.
In an interview yesterday, club chairperson, Emmanuel Cholobola, said the programme was going on well and hailed Government for the initiative.
He explained that out of the 16 animals, 12 would be passed on to other viable youths and women clubs in the area in form of empowerment.
Mr Cholobola said as per Government agreement, the programme was meant to empower youths and women through livestock production so that they could become economic independent as entrepreneurs.
The club chairman said it was for the same reason that his club was passing on some animals to other viable youths and women clubs for development.

Mr Cholobola urged other beneficiary clubs and cooperatives to utilise the animals for the intended purposes so that the programme could become a success.
