…He has lost direction and needs deep reflection

By CHIKUMBI KATEBE

THE CHURCH has expressed concern at the ranting from former Information minister Chishimba Kambwili and have called on the lawmaker to take an introspection of his position in society.

Cathedral of Miracles church Bishop Naison Nyonyo said Mr Kambwili has lost direction as exhibited  in his actions and statements he was making to the public which showed lack of constancy and honour.

He said the Roan Member of Parliament must take in introspection of himself, and think through everything that was happening to him and around him, so that it can help him come back to the person the people have known.

“We would love him to humble himself surely, and try to start afresh to sit down and reconsider his position, and he needs to ask himself “what has gone wrong with me?”

“The man has lost direction!

“I remember Mr Kambwili as the man who condemned our brothers and sisters in Southern Province that even if Jesus was to stand in an election, that those people would not vote for Him because (Jesus) but would vote for their fellow Tonga, and now he is taking an apology as a thing to play with.  When you are apoligising on something, it must come from the heart,” he said

The Clergyman explained that Mr Kambwili was not stable as can be deduced from his recent actions and outbursts which clearly showed that the man had lost direction.

He said it was evident that the lawmaker had lost his status in society and noted with great concern the route he had taken was in the wrong direction.

Bishop Nyonyo said as an honourable MP, Mr Kambwili owed it to his voters, the people who believed in him to maintain his position in society and not disappoint them with irresponsible ranting.

He has called on Mr Kambwili to take some time and sit down to think about himself and what has gone wrong from the man he was a few years ago to the man he has become, instead of continuing to expose his instability as he has been.
