THE Patriotic Front (PF) youth wing in Livingstone has called on Zambians not to pay attention to the confusion in the opposition political parties.
PF District Youth Chairman, Eddie Chomba, said the confusion that has rocked the NDC should not steal the limelight from the citizens.
Mr Chomba noted that as the PF Youth wing led by him as Chairman and Ikuka Muleta as constituency youth chairman, would take advantage and mobilize its members to strengthen the ruling party.
He said that August was near and therefore, paying attention to the NDC -UPND confusion would not benefit anyone.
Mr Chomba, therefore, advised Zambians not to be fooled by the opposition’s failed alliance.
He was speaking in an interview with the Daily Nation in Livingstone yesterday.
Mr Chomba charged that from the onset, he knew very well that Chishimba Kambwili and Hakainde Hichilema could not work together.
“As PF, we knew very well that that alliance was a sham and a non-starter so, we are not surprised to see the drama unfolding. We expected that.
“My only message to my fellow citizens is that, let us not pay attention to the confusion which has engulfed the opposition because there are no benefits in it,” Mr Chomba said.
And Mr Muleta has called on the PF general membership to take advantage of the confusion in the opposition to strengthen the party.
